Hi all!!! This is my first time posting on here so I hope you like it...
Now I'm sure were all familiar with this years Celebrity Big Brother and all the commotion surrounding Coolio, don't worry I'm not accusing you of actually watching it so you don't have to admit to anything! We've heard the claims and accusations of bullying but we've also been told about Coolio's disrespectful attitude to women through the use of the word 'bitches'. Name calling is a horrible horrible thing in any circumstance but I want to pose the question 'Is Coolio being disrespectful or just calling it as he sees it?'. Whilst all the other house mates were disgusted at his choice of word, Coolio didn't intend it as a describing word for all women, just the ones who are promiscuously searching for love in the hands of a rich rapper and he seems more than able to create a distinction between the two showing high levels of respect for (most of) the women in the house.
So whats your view of the use of this word, is it always unacceptable or justifiable in cases where the actions shown demand no respect.

STILL LOOKING FOR A BARGAIN???
First and foremost I want to wish you all a Happy New Year!!! Ok I know I'm a bit late but essay writing and deadlines cannot be helped.
So January = Sales for most of you, but unfortunately my attempts failed as I got literally pushed from Topshop's sale section into the non-sale section and ending up handing over £100 for three pieces of polyester mix rags. So for those of you in the same positions as me there is still time to catch a bargain from the people at www.buymywardrobe.com who will bring you designers such as Gucci and Marc Jacob from fashionistas from Gucci head quarters, What Not To Wear stylist Zoe Lem amongst others. The event takes place in London's Covent Garden on 31st January 2009 and they claim there are items starting from as little as £5.

Cheryl's No.1 Celeb?!
Cheryl Cole has topped a MTV news poll to become the public's favourite celebrity of 2008. It seems that Girls Aloud member has captured the hearts of many since her troubles with her straying hubby Ashley Cole and her stint as a judge on X Factor. Not that I have anything against the Geordie lass but shouldn't we applaud people with real talent and she is clearly lacking if we go by recent performances on X Factor and The Girls Aloud Party. Don't agree, just watch this, oh and Simon Cowells face!
