SURVIVORS

BBC One tonight brings us episode three of the six part drama Survivors. The plot of Survivors focuses on a group of survivors of a fictional flu-plague epidemic that ate the immune systems of large proportion of mankind. They now have to start a new life in a vicious world in where people will kill to hold on to a lifetime supply pop-tarts and pickled eggs from Netto. Well I know I would at least go up-market to Waitrose and live my end days in style. The storyline itself is not pushing boundaries as it would be more likely that you would end up left behind with your arc-enemy or the t-pain look-alike that stalked you on your journey to work. But luckily for them they are all reasonably good looking especially the Asian playboy Al Saqid played by Phillip Rhys, I know I wouldn't mind starting a new mankind with him. Unfortunately it hasn't quite got the same creative flair as lost, it would be ingenious to see a talking polar bear jump out of the Netto ready to defend his property with a machine gun, it might grab in a few more viewers. If your baffled by the goings on its worth taking a peak tonight at 21:00 on BBC One even if it is just drool over hunk Phillip Rhys.

Any suggestions on how justice for Baby P can be achieved?

In further developments in the campaign for justice for Baby P three senior figures at Haringey council have been suspended as result from the findings in the tragic 16 page report. At the full front of the blame is the director of children's service is Sharon Shoesmith, who has been suspended with full pay. Does that sound like justice to you? Shoesmith is on a yearly salary of £100,000, so how is she being convicted by sitting at home comfortable still racking in the cash? But how can justice for Baby P be fully achieved or is it ever achievable considering the torture Baby P suffered. Should the price to pay for his death be increased?
